Implants

Implant-based treatment is employed to replace single or multiple missing teeth. The insertion of one or several implants allows for the restoration of a beautiful, natural smile. An implant is a titanium or zirconia post that mimics a tooth’s root. It is surgically placed in the jawbone, where it integrates with the bone over varying time intervals. This procedure enables the creation of a fixed prosthetic restoration such as a crown, bridge, or full dental reconstruction, especially when a patient has no natural teeth. This approach can involve prostheses with mechanical retention or screw-retained full-arch prostheses.

Implants are made from pure titanium or zirconia due to their excellent tolerance by the human body and durability under load. The implant’s surface and material encourage integration with the bone in a durable, bio-neutral manner.

Teeth attached to implants are indistinguishable from natural ones. Moreover, the metallic parts of the implant are completely covered by the gums and the ceramic surface of the crown. Currently, due to the dynamic development of implantology, implant placement has become a common and widely available procedure conducted in dental offices. The procedure is straightforward, quick, and completely painless. Under optimal bone conditions, the implant placement procedure takes no longer than 20 minutes.

Before proceeding with the procedure, we conduct a comprehensive examination of the oral cavity, focusing mainly on the condition of the teeth and gums, as well as the amount of bone tissue in areas where implant-based restorations are planned.
